Read your tire
Every tire carries its size, load, speed and age on the sidewall. Type in the code — we’ll draw it out as an engineering drawing.
For example 205/55 R16 91V — the large numbers on the sidewall.

Similar sizes
Sizes with a similar overall diameter (±2 %) — the speedometer reads almost the same. Always check your car’s approved sizes before switching.

Tire hotel
Off-season wheels don’t belong in the basement or on the balcony. We wash them, check them and store them in a labelled spot — and remind you before the season.

How it works
- At the change, every wheel gets a tag with your plate number.
- We wash the wheels and measure tread depth — you get the result by SMS.
- They’re stored dry and dark: tires lying flat, wheels hanging.
- Before the season we send a reminder with free slots.

Questions
When should I switch to winter tires?
When mornings stay below 7 °C (45 °F). At that point summer compound hardens and winter tires grip better — usually from mid-October into November.
How long does a tire change take?
A wheel swap takes about 25 minutes, a tire change with balancing about 50. You can wait in the lounge with a coffee.
Do I have to bring my wheels?
Not if your set is in our tire hotel — we’ll have it ready before your slot.
What tread depth is still OK?
The legal minimum is 1.6 mm (2/32″). For winter we recommend at least 4 mm — snow and slush need deep grooves. Try the gauge above.
What does XL mean on a tire?
Extra load: a reinforced build with a higher load index, good for heavier cars and vans.
Can I buy new tires from you?
Yes — we’ll order them in the size from your old tire. Just send us a photo of the sidewall.
